Greenkitten's application for best mod position
Considering my previous application for worst mod position was rejected I would like to change my outlook towards becoming the best mod. I see the current moderation line up is lacking in a truly upstanding moderator who is free from the drama that engulfs the server. Each moderator holds grudges and has abused their privileges in the past. I will try to curb this blatant disregard for the rules by enforcing them with my impeccable moral integrity. You might be thinking that since I am a member of the Khaganate that I am without morals, but I think you'll find that I have not been banned for taking part in raids and drama for a long while. And that when I have been banned it has often been reduced or simply removed due to my calm explanation of the situation and how it was misinterpreted by the moderator. I fear that my poor reputation may just be ill informed opinions bundling me in with Kovio as there is a strong anti-Mongol sentiment.
I would like to share some points which show that I am actually helpful and contribute to the server.
Current spawn (tangatown)
- Public farms which I often have to replant or repair due to griefers
- Beautification of the spawn square, it now looks a lot more cosy
- Happy Merchant market, remember when it was a dull little shack at spawn? Well now it is a hub of activity and trade
Tora
- After making amends with Tora I helped fix the place up
- dug some rivers and helped build some bridges and housing
Battx
- The rail network from Kovanje to Al-Iskandariya to Gurkburk if you see a rail in the Battx continent it was probably me who had laid it
- public undersea farms and free food stalls so anyone who wanders by will never starve
- repair of the mountain god who long lost his ability to provide goods, now dispenses melons
General tidbits
- I ask noobs to take me to their settlements and give advice such as locking their chests
- I set up portals (see dogolandia)
- I feel like I am constantly reporting griefing
- track repairs (I now carry a stack of redstone torches due to the Polevasion)
- Informing people of commands they can use such as /lb tb and /spawn int_nether or /cmodify username etc.
- I am a very active Australian player and help bridge the gap between American and European times which is when a lot of griefing happens
I would also like to say I have very good relations will all who I have gone to war with as this is a game and I don't hate.
