History
founding/time period
Founded 31.12.2012 by Venomthrope. The region has been Venomthrope's building site for months but seeing how the servers been filling with new friends since the old friend exodus of 2012 Venomthrope decided to start a settlement that serves as a hub for the hermit builders seeking peace from the autism of the spawn and more populated regions.
Landmarks and Surroundings
Spede town consist of largish desert island and a smaller forested island. The small island has servced as Venomthrope's test build island that has seen many buttugly dick towers and cube houses but once development of the island's started properly the smallish forest island has server as the site of spede pasanen harbor.
The large desert island contains the dome that started as a large tower that serves as the supporting structure and center of traffic within the dome. The dome is currently under constant development and remodeling to make it the hub of all activity in them rewion containing the now dead nation of New rhodes and the nearby unnamed continent. Spede town underground cave systems are extensive and have paths to all nearby continents trough numerous twists and turns, but the founder of spede town Venomthrope has made major undeground paths that go directly to New rhodes, nearby continent to the east of spede town and to the defunct town settlement of wissendorf that is under stewardship of venomthrope until a worthy heir to wissendorf can be found.
Economy
The spede town undeground cavern system contains many valuable minerals. Most of the valuable minerals near spede town have been plundered but the caverns east and west of Spede town remain mostly unexplored. Spede town has two mining outposts far north of spede town that have plenty of minerals to mine for trade.
Local Life and Issues
Since the foundation of New rhodes in the continent north of spede town and wissendorf, the region experienced lots of raids that were part of the Mongol Wars. But since the desolation of wissendorf by mongols and the slow decay of New rhodes the region has entered into the age of silence.
Local Gov't/Representation
Spede town is currently ruled by the founder venomthrope. Changes into the political system are possible once more people are attracted into the region and settlement.
