Through numerous modern-day Illudhian archeological findings within the biome which would later become the Illudhian district of New Badfacia, it has been gathered that a primitive hominid now scientifically classified as “Homo Illudhensis” once inhabited the area until what is hypothesized to have been a rapid extinction.

Having watched from his neighboring mountaintop home as the small settlement created by Bananas receive little to no activity for a considerable amount of time, Wpcke inquired as to it's owner and was soon granted the land. Wpcke decided to immediately re-incorporate the town into the New Badfacian Empire and combine his home with it under a district of the same name.

The territory of Nij Illudha was re-established by Wpcke and Dan62910 after having previously resided in a number of other non-Badfacian settlements. Immediately followed by the latter's extended playing hiatus and the former's reentry into the Badfacian Empire and relocation to it's mainland, development of the area came to a complete halt before anything other than a sandstone hovel and a small number of livestock had been procured. Wpcke began to focus solely on his new home, a desert in South Badfacia, and having contributed to the further development of the area with such construction projects as the sacrificial altar and the opium den, as well as beginning the Badfacian conquering of the newly discovered Timothy McVeigh's Abusetown, Wpcke returned to his colony seeking much needed resources. Quickly transforming his dilapidated hovel into a base of operations, he managed to create a flourishing settlement worthy of Badfacian provinciality.

During a series of free-run mining expeditions within the province, a number of valuable monster spawners were destroyed; the provincial government has since enacted a strict policy against the further debasement of monster spawners by any Illudhian citizen.

The Illudhian Fountain is the most used design for marking physical provincial boundaries, planned to be built across the entire length of the territory such that one couldn't enter the province by foot without seeing one.

Currently only two human citizens inhabit the province, both residing in East County. A number of yevs are incorporated into a concentration camp in close proximity to the mining facility where the human inhabitants live.

The official language of the Badfacian Empire, English, is spoken by all citizens.

Although freedom of religion is a staple of the Illudhian identity, worship among it's citizens is primarily directed torwards the Feels God of which a sacrificial altar was constructed in mainland Badfacia, as well as a great reverence for Illudha's founding father Bananas.
